More Visitors

For about five weeks starting in mid February we had family staying with us some came for a weekend and some family came for a week or two weeks because of how far away they had to travel. My sister Hayley and her husband Nate were the first to visit, then my parents, followed by my sister in law Lue. A day after Lue left Ty's parents arrived, and last but not least my sister in law Meghan came up and then drove back with me and the boys to Utah. It was great to see everyone and have help with the boys. I think we would have enjoyed it a little more with visitors more spread out but that's what happens when all our Birthdays are clumped together and family wants to come celebrate! When my Mother and Father in law were here we worked on projects in and outside the house. I am really bad at taking pictures when Ty's parents come my excuse is a very sad one, it's because we do normal, ordinary things and I just forget to take my camera out but I am trying to do better.

The boys helping Grandpa Turner and Daddy rake the dirt to get it ready to plant. Right now we have tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, and zucchini all planted along with lots of flowers.

The boys getting acquainted with their potties. Troy is wearing big boy undies in this photo. Weston is showing a lot of signs of readiness and I am going to attempt to potty train full time beginning in May after I read my potty training book and feel a little more confident in what I am suppose to be doing! I don't have high expectations but figure even if Weston gets potty trained maybe Troy will follow his lead. Feel free to leave any potty training tips below they are greatly appreciated!

One Monday night we went up to the Las Vegas temple and walked around the grounds.

I  taught a Relief Society lesson on the temple a couple weeks ago. One of my favorite things about the Las Vegas temple is when you leave, you drive down a big hill  and can see the whole strip below with all the casinos, hotels, etc. It always reminds me that I need to be "In the world but NOT of the world" It's a beautiful temple and I've grown quite attached to it the past five years we've lived here.

Troy and Weston loved looking in the stain glass windows.

Hotel Turner in Vegas is the best place in town to stay! I love the short gardeners with the rakes :). They look a lot like the little men that staff the bathroom inside the hotel. Haha.
